What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing modality.
Since its discovery, Reiki has become a complementary health practice that uses universal energy to enhance
the body’s own ability to heal itself.
The use of this universal energy as a tool for healing has been practiced throughout the world for centuries and is referred to as Prana in India, Qi in China, and Ki in Japan.
In Japanese, Rei means Universal or Spiritually Guided and Ki means Life Energy or Life Force. Reiki then translates to Universal Life Force or Spiritually Guided Life Energy.
Reiki aids in healing the body, mind, and soul.
These healing touch techniques can be utilized for stress reduction, relaxation, and can help promote healing of the physical body, emotional body, and mental body. We know through conventional medicine how our organs function, but what allows these organs to operate?
Universal Life Force Energy
is one term used to describe the core of our
being and consciousness.
This can become imbalanced over the years through traumatic events, emotional stress, physical pain, or even the every day grind of life. Your body is always working hard to heal itself and we see this when we get a cut or bruise and that regeneration is happening on multiple levels even though we often aren’t aware of it.
As your Reiki practitioner, I can bring balance back to these areas, increasing your feeling of peacefulness. This reduction of stress and anxiety promotes an increase of energy available for your mind and body to heal and recover.
